Move your finger or press the arrow keys to slide the numbered tiles in one of four directions: up, down, left, or right. When two tiles with the same number touch, they join into one tile with the total of the two tiles. The goal is to form a tile with the number 2048. Plan your moves to stop the board from filling up with tiles. If the board fills up and no more moves are possible, the game ends. Continue merging tiles to attain higher numbers and increase your score. Note that each move adds a new tile to the board, introducing an element of challenge to the game.
