Gomoku

Connect exactly 5 of the same stones in a row (horizontally, vertically or diagonally).

Set your piece on any unoccupied intersection of the board. Try to make a row of five stones in a sequence, either sideways, up and down, or at an angle. Prevent your rival from achieving their own line of 5. Switch placing pieces with your competitor until one player succeeds in forming a row of five. Note that the match ends immediately when a line of five is formed, with no need to cover the entire board.
